This initial work is from a group of works based around estuaries in the south west of the UK and is both artistic, geographic and scientific. It is a combination of billions of precisely measured points (pointclouds) that observe change at spatial and temporal scales, invisible  to the human eye, it’s also like being in a geographical rave!! These lidar scans can be explored from any moment in time and in detail, from a grain of sand to a human footprint. They could help us measure the effects of tide on our beach landscapes and cliffs, while equally acting as a meditative, immersive and potentially participatory experience.
