My name is Leonora Oppenheim and I’m a visual artist engaging in sensory and psychological dialogues with the landscape. Through drawing and performance, walking and photography, I attempt to capture the rush of the ephemeral in the ways we physically meet the world. I am preoccupied with themes of vulnerable presence, intimacy in nature, and contaminated ecosystems. With my ongoing research into movement and mark-marking I share an embodied practice through ‘Body as a Research Tool’ workshops, Feldenkrais classes, and published writing. I currently live in Bruton, Somerset, and work as a Visiting Lecturer at Bath Spa University, Goldsmiths College, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
