Vanessa Chapple

I am an interdisciplinary performance artist/director working across sound/dance/theatre/writing/somatics and place. Currently engaged in a phd research at RMIT at the Creative Agency Lab, School of Education. I am interested in the moving body, agency and health and connection that can be found through aesthetic experiences in collective non hierarchical fields. My participatory arm of arts practice in community has focused upon young children – most recently with babies and also the generative field of experiential embryology most specifically engaging with BMC practices of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.
