First Fridays happen on the first Friday of every month, except January – so this is the first gathering of 2019. First Fridays is a gathering place for artists or anyone interested in the arts, an opportunity to share food and talk. Each month, after lunch, there is an informal presentation of work in progress by one or two artists who may be local or from far away.
Guest artists this month will be Harriet and Rob Fraser joining us from the far northern lands who will give us an update on their amazing work with farming and rural communities.
We will also listen in on a conversation between the artists currently exhibiting in the Dartington Space Gallery (formerly known as the Garden Room Gallery) Fiona Harrisson, Susan Kruse, and Delia Salter. (Fiona is based in Australia, so time zones may make this impossible in her case).
